Let us take a moment to do something we never do with 'professionals' who's education we never question and who's licenses we never check nor question and an industry that makes multi-millions of dollars with questionable and conflicting regulation, which is heavily fined and faces multiple recalls a year.
Often people say what pharmaceutical marketing by marketing firms like McKinsey, which was recently sued for its role in the opioid epidemic responsible for many peoples lives and prescription addictions, say - something did not seem right about the person.
Do we ever question why? Let us take a look at the medicine bottle and the serious side effects of the drugs patients are prescribe, often these side effects are reflected in symptoms 'professionals' profess patients have in this particular discipline, psychology, these professed symptoms are not based on any scientific evidence. No more than the clinical trails reveal any scientific evidence reflecting the efficacy of the drug, which the medical industry uses to justify prescribing drugs and treatments in the first place. As we often see this chain of unproven and predatory profit driven negligence results in perception drug addictions and epidemics such as the opioid epidemic.
As President Obama pointed out such negligent and systematic actions leads to a nation representing only 5% of the world's population taking over 80% of the world's pain medication, like opioids, as well as incarceration with 80% of those incarcerated being substance abusers.
Many of this side effects, for drugs who's efficacy is neither proven nor substantiated by the FDA who approves them are often significant, irreversible and make patients appear other than in their 'normal' state.
