Lamba expressed gratitude to CEO Salil Parekh
Infosys recently announced the resignation of Hemant Lamba, Executive Vice President and Global Head of Strategic Sales, in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Lamba, based in the UK, has been with the company for over seven years, initially joining in December 2016 as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Large Deals & Strategic Sales.
In his resignation letter addressed to Infosys CEO Salil Parekh, Lamba said, "I am writing to inform you of my decision to resign from the services of Infosys. I am thankful for the opportunity and experiences I have had over the years."
Infosys confirmed the resignation in a stock exchange filing.
"This is to inform you that Hemant Lamba, Senior Management Personnel, has resigned from the services of the company,” Infosys said.
Lamba, who reported directly to the CEO, held global responsibility for Infosys’ Strategic Sales across all vertical segments and industries.
This marks Lamba's second stint at Infosys; he first joined the company in 2009 as Associate Vice President for Banking & Capital Markets in Europe.
The Bengaluru-headquartered IT services company formally notified the bourses about the resignation of this key executive in a statutory filing.
