fresh ripe tomatoes, washed and sliced
good quality olive oil
good quality balsamic vinegar
sea salt
fresh ground black pepper
fresh cilantro, basil or lemon thyme
fresh grated Parmigiano-Reggiano (optional)
Place sliced tomatoes on a plate so they aren’t overlapping too much.
Drizzle with oil and vinegar.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Sprinkle with fresh herbs.
Sprinkle with freshly grated cheese, if using.
