Business websites unlike e-Commerce websites likely include a service rather than a website dedicated to selling products and implementing transactions.

Bogs have an interesting history that coincide with the development of the inertness was we know it today. Most blogs and websites today are WordPress websites. In fact, WordPress was pivotal in and helped start blogs as we know them today. Blogs began as a means of people sharing written and visual content online, which remains popular today. Blogs are employed by both individuals for personal reasons as well as business for commercial reasons.


4. Portfolios

Portfolio websites are just as they sound. It is a portfolio, however, online. Portfolios are typically employed by creatives or rely heavily on visuals. Portfolios as they have always been are an extension of a resume. Online Portfolios can also enhance testimonials and show samples of professional or business work from architecture to artist.


5. Event Websites

Event websites are like Ticket Master online. They facilitate the registration, scheduling, payment and sometimes the delivery of events whether it be an in-person event or online. Eventbrite is a common platform known for event scheduling: event website.


6. Membership Websites

When one considers a membership website they may consider YouTube Red, were you pay to be a member and as a member you receive services, products and or content for a fee. These websites or platforms themselves are the paid for product.


7. Nonprofit Websites

Are websites that are created, maintained and managed for non-profits. As there are a host of non-profits out there so too are there types of websites created for them.


8. Informational Websites

Informational websites maybe websites that are maintained by a city that provides information to its citizens. While city websites may also facilitate the payment of property and other taxes and fees. These websites and other informational websites are chiefly designed to provide information to those who visit it such as Wikipedia.


9. Online Forums

Forums, such as Reddit, facilitate discussion and often question and answers. Theses websites are often fuled with content by those who visit them.
