There are many amazing wools out there. And since winter is right around the corner for some and already here for others, lets talk about the wools we love and why.
Our list is fairly short: we like merino wool and cashmere wool. Who does not like cashmere. But, to be more specific we think these two wools are the best wools because it offers the best of what wool has to offer: warmth and comfort. During the winter months we want warmth and comfort more than anything as we brave the winter weather. The only thing better than getting wool for the holidays is giving wool for the holidays.
But, back to the wool. Many wools are lovely. However, the primary reason we like these two wools is their comfort of ware. They lack the itchiness that tends to plague other wools especially during long wear. Other less comfortable wools (itchy) are great for short term ware and for items that are not worn close to the body, such as a sweater vest.
