Keyshawn, Kelvin, and Keon Davis put on a legendary show for a sold-out crowd in the first major boxing fight in Norfolk in thirty years, a significant event that will be remembered for years to come. Keon was dominant in his first professional fight after a stellar amateur career versus Jalen Moore, winning every round. Kelvin also put on a dominant boxing display versus Yeis Gabriel Solano, winning virtually every round. Solano was hesitant to engage with Kelvin, but Kelvin still scored a knockdown with the last punch of the fight. The event's headliner, Keyshawn, performed spectacularly, knocking down Gustavo Lemos thrice in the second round.
The performance was extraordinary, considering Lemos arguably beat Richardson Hitchins, who will be fighting for the IBF junior welterweight title, in his last fight, and was about 20 pounds over the lightweight boxing limit at the start of the fight. Fans who were at the Norfolk Scope Arena are hoping that DB3 will host a few more boxing events there. My predictions for DB3 are that Keyshawn will fight Denys Berinchyk for his WBO lightweight title in 2025 and hopefully a sold-out title defense at the Scope, Kelvin will take on more seasoned fighters as he progresss through the junior welterweight rankings, and Keon will possibly fight at least 4 times in 2025 as he continues to get acclimated as a pro.
